Before heading into the woods, tall grass, or marshy areas, shake the bottle thoroughly to blend the oil and vinegar matrix. Lightly mist Woodsman's Shield across your dog's entire dry coat from a distance of about 6 to 8 inches. Gently ruffle the fur to ensure the spray reaches the undercoat, paying special attention to the belly, legs, neck, and base of the tail where fleas and ticks frequently hitchhike. Avoid the eyes, nose, and mouth. Reapply every 2 to 3 hours during extended outdoor exposure or immediately after swimming.
